Last week was a real disappointment as far as the newsletter goes with the Griquas -3.5 best bet missing despite an incredible comeback that saw them snatch the game against Western Province.
The 10/1 ACCA also had a couple of narrow losses, but I did lean towards high scoring games and a nice win on Leinster overs and also on the Lions in Durban meant that I came out ahead with my first good weekend in a while

LEICESTER TO GRIND THE SAINTS DOWN
Choosing a Best Bet this week wasn’t easy as the points lines are not yet out in the Currie Cup and probably won’t be for some time and the semi-final handicaps look reasonably well set.
I am in agreement with @ThoughtsOnSports though that Leicester look the business against Northampton in the Gallagher Premiership. They are a side that strangle the opposition and those that have joined me on my punting journey over the years will know that I don’t shy away from backing a minus handicap in a semi-final if I feel the favouritism is justified. My reason for this is that once the team, in this case Leicester, gets more than a score ahead they will keep chipping away with penalties while their opponents will have to start taking chances. Leicester delivered the Best Bet for us just a few weeks ago and we are going back to the well with them this week.
