newsletterThe latest Goodforthegame newsletter penned by @BrentGraham with best bets for the weekend of 12th to 14th June

Super Rugby is back this weekend even though it is only in New Zealand and I must say I have been amazed by the enthusiasm of South African fans and punters.

With live sports starting to get going around the world it is certainly nice to be getting back into Sports Betting mode.

Before we get into this week’s action you might enjoy this story written for my Citizen Blog where a mate of mine thought he was buying some free money and so nearly came short -  Click Here to read “No Such Thing As Free Money”.

THE HANDICAP “Rugby chat that matters” is back

I was joined by a top class panel last night to talk about the New Zealand Super Rugby Competition including the long term markets and both of this weekend’s matches.  It will come as no surprise to those who have followed Goodforthegame for years that I am rooted firmly in the Blues camp this season and there was some excellent views from the likes of Hanrick, Couch and Son of a Punt.

Picking a best bet this week wasn’t easy with Hanrick and the Couch both really strong on the Blues minus and this line is continuing to push out as it opened at (-2.5) and currently sitting around (-6.5).

In the other game the money initially came for the Chiefs minus, but the line has gone from 7.5 to 9.5 back into 7.5 on the back of Chiefs team news.  The lads from @Son_of_a_Punt were thinking along the same lines to me that this Chiefs side has been selected for a big second half performance and the Chiefs to win the second half by 3 points or more is our best bet.

Best Bet:  6 units Chiefs (-2.5) second half handicap at 8/10 at Sunbet

For those of you who enjoy a rugby chat with less of a betting angle, Couch Critic hosted a show on the Goodforthegame channel this week.

“Use it or Lose it” looks at the Super Rugby Tournament and he had excellent guests from South Africa and from across the pond in New Zealand, well worth a watch.

Couch also writes NRL and Super Rugby previews for BetoLimpclick here for his blogs

Not enough sport on to really do an ACCA this week, but as the likes of Australia Super Rugby and the EPL gets going we will certainly be looking for that double figure multiple each week.

Great to have you along for the ride and hope to see you on the Goodforthegame Forum and in particular our rugby thread.

Cheers
