cashThe latest Goodforthegame newsletter penned by @BrentGraham with best bets for 25th to 28th April including a 11/1 acca with @PokerBetSA

Last weekend is certainly one I will be looking to erase from memory as Leinster never turned up in Joburg and the Acca promised much but failed to deliver.
My only saving grace was that I was on a “working holiday” and never got to see any rugby and so did not get further involved.

That is also the reason for an early newsletter this week. I am travelling Friday and would have been under pressure to get one out so when I came upon a golf bet (and with the Scheffler win still fresh in the mind) that looks good value I could not resist – more on that below.

THE HANDICAP
I will doing the show live from San Lameer tonight at 21h00 where I will be joined by The Mossman – if you have not watched the show live yet then click here to set a reminder

Once back home I will be watching plenty of rugby this weekend and will be posting bets on the Super Rugby Pacific and URC games without SA teams here

Bets on the games where South African teams are playing can be found in the URC section (bets not added yet) and of course the forum thread is always great value and look out for Pablo’s plays in Europe.

TOP 5 VALUE IN ZURICH (note markets close 14h00 25 April)

The weeks best bet though is in the Zurich Classic the only team event on the PGA calendar.

Cantlay and Schauffele are the favourites at 9/2 (Betxchange) and it is hard to argue given they won this in 22 and finished 4th last year. They are also both in good form with Xander having 3 top 5’s in his last 6 starts and Cantlay fresh off a podium last week.

What really strikes me here is the depth of the field or should I say “lack of it”

Once you get past the 1st 10 pairings there are plenty of names I don’t recognize (admittedly I don’t follow so closely anymore) and I am going to have a decent wedge on the favourites finishing in the top 5.

There is 21/20 on offer at WSB and 1/1 generally available but I am going to suggest the 10/11 at Sportingbet (I took the 21/20 as posted in the golf thread  as my Sporting account is flat)

The reason is that they pay ties in full and in golf I prefer to take a slightly shorted price, a 5 way tie for 4th is very possible and by the time dead heat rules your stake and payout have been shredded.
