Perth Scorchers vs Brisbane Heat, Tue 19 Jan @ 10:15 Melbourne
Liam Livingstone surged into top hitting form against the Sixers but the lower order fizzled out without Mitch Marsh to call on whilst the bowlers took a hammering at the hands of Philippe and Vince. The Heat have a workmanlike bowling unit whilst they rely on their three stars – Lynn, Denly and Burns to get the runs.

Top Perth Bowler – J Behrendorff @ 5.00
Okay, like a few Republicans in the States of late I’m jumping ship. Behrendorff was arguably the best bowler on show last time out and despite still rating Richardson, the value lies with the Dorff.
Top Heat Batsman – J Denly @ 5.00
Lynn is scary consistent at churning out the runs but there is an English flavour to my betting strategy for this game so I’m trusting Denly to bring home the bacon (I’ll supply the English mustard).
Man of the Match – J Roy @ 8.00
When Roy fires its Game Over. This match might be scheduled for 19 Jan but if the bulky opener gets going its bound to look like the 4th of July – fireworks everywhere.
Melbourne Renegades vs Melbourne Stars, Wed 20 Jan @ 10:15 Melbourne
It’s Part 2 of the Melbourne derby. There won’t however be another sequel to the rivalry this season tho as the Renegades are well and truly out of the playoff running. For Maxi and his chargers a win is crucial as they look to take a significant step toward the playoffs.

Top Renegades Bowler – P Hatzoglou @ 4.50
Whilst their batting has been as fragile as porcelain the bowling front hasn’t gone that much better for the Renegades. The leggy has looked good thus far when compared to his piers and he catches my eye in this market.
Top Renegades Batsman – M Harvey @ 7.00
Mackenzie Harvey has done reasonably well for the Renegades. With Shaun Marsh back and Finch back at the top Harvey is likely to bat at four or five. But if the top order issues remain for this side of Melbourne then Harvey should still get plenty of time at the crease.
Top Stars Batsman - H Cartwright @ 10.00
I’m amazed to find Cartwright at this price. Against this same opponent he came in at number six but in the match before that he strode out at 2 wickets down. Stoinis’ form has been up and down whilst Maxwell has struggled so its not like those ahead of him are too good to ignore. I will gladly take a nice juicy bite of this price.
