IPL 2020 is well and truly under way and there is just no way that the biggest T20 event can pass this punter bye without a few proper bets. Lets have a look at Thursday and Friday’s action and find something to sink our teeth into.

Kings XI Punjab vs Royal Challengers Bangalore, Thursday 24 September – DSC Dubai

The Kings XI suffered Super Over disaster as they went down to Delhi in their opening fixture. Mayank Agarwal proved the main man with the bat on the day whilst Mohammed Shami ran red-hot with the ball. RCB let a solid start slip somewhat with the willow but in contrast to what is usually the norm for them, the bowlers did a superb job in turning around what looked like a bit of a lost cause at one stage. Chahal proved the match winner on that occasion.

Both sides will look to keep improving into this fixture. Kohli didn’t come off in his first outing and that is sure to change but the seam duo of Steyn and Umesh Yadav didn’t look like a tournament winning combo. For Punjab a lot will depend on the explosiveness of Glenn Maxwell. Chris Gayle could also add to the potential fireworks. Offset this hitting with the solid class of K Rahul. Bowling wise Shami will remain the standout strike option.

Chennai Super Kings vs Delhi Capitals, Friday 25 September – DSC Dubai

CSK already have two matches behind them. Last time out the Rajasthan Royals put their bowlers to the sword – no one was spared. In their opening victory Chawla was efficient and Ngidi collected some scalps. Faf du Plessis has shown superb form in his two outings for the men in yellow.

Delhi have three of the brightest young talents in India cricket in their batting line-up in the form of Prithvi Shaw, Shreyas Iyer and Rishabh Pant. You combine this with the x-factor that the likes of Hetmeyer and Stoinis bring and throw in the experience of Dhawan and you have a serious batting order on your hands. Rabada is the leader of the attack for the Capitals and they will be hoping Ashwin is fighting fit to complement the fire and brimstone of KG and Anrich Nortjé.
