Business is picking up – here are my plays for Saturday’s IPL action.
Kolkata Knight Riders vs Delhi Capitals, Saturday 24 October – Abu Dhabi
KKR are now fluctuating dangerously stuck mid-table and come into this clash off the back of a humiliating defeat against RCB, where they could only manage 84 in their 20 overs. Delhi also comes into this one off a loss yet are still at the top of the bale.

If Russell plays he could do some damage but Delhi have Shaw, Pant, Stoinis and Hetmeyer.
Top KKR Batsman – E Morgan @ 4.50
Kolkata can’t keep going with the strategy of not getting their best layer at the wicket earlier. I’m expecting captain Morgan to lead from the front.
Top KKR Bowler – L Ferguson @ 3.50
Ferguson has entered the comp like a bull in a china shop and I’m expecting him to continue in this fashion.
Man of the Match – K Rabada @ 11.00
Rabada is the purple cap wearer and has the ability to swing a match on his own.
Kings XI vs Sunrisers Hyderabad, Saturday 24 October – DSC Dubai
The Kings XI have found their mojo with the Universe Boss in their ranks and are clearly a team on the rise. They will look to keep their momentum going against a team that has struggled for consistency but are tied on 8 points with Punjab. Both teams will be desperate to keep moving up and not slip down with only a handful of matches remaining and time running out.

To win the game – Kings XI @1.88
I came up short opposing SRH last time out but am willing to go again. The Kings XI are a team on the up and should have the measure of the Sunrisers.
To score the most sixes – Kings XI @1.72
When you have Gayle and Pooran in your midst this looks a sound play.
Top Kings XI Bowler – M Shami @ 2.75
Head and shoulders the best bowler in this Punjab line-up.
Top SHR Bowler – R Khan @ 2.75
Again I go with the firm favourite as he is comfortably the best bowler on display in this match.
