mi2019Couch Critic previews Tuesday's Indian Premier League Final between Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals including best bets from @Olimp_SA

The IPL Proved to be one of the few sporting tournaments to mostly escape the clutched of COVID 19 as the re-scheduled time slot and revised host nation proved a resounding success. All that remains now is to crown the champion. Here is how I see things going down between the Mumbai Indians and the Delhi Capitals in the final of IPL 2020.

Mumbai Indians vs Delhi Capitals, Tuesday 10 November – DSC Dubai

Early doors Delhi were the side to beat in IPL 2020. Shaw and Iyer were th

e young Indians leading the charge whilst the cream of the T20 crop were left in fear at the prospect of facing the fiery South African two-some of Rabada and Nortje. In the second half of the comp the runs dried up from their aforementioned youngsters whilst KG and Anrich have taken turns to leak some runs. The Capitals come into this final having won only two of their past seven matches.

Mumbai have far and away been the most consistent team in the IPL. The last time they played Delhi (in the first Qualifier) they handed them a sound hiding. With dangerous, in-from big hitters lower down the order and a top order where different players have stuck their hands up this is a well-rounded MI side. Ball in hand they have option and variety and crucially they have the best death bowler in world cricket.

Betolimp Bets:

Top Mumbai Batsman – S Yadav @ 4.00

Suryakumar has found his top touch at the right time of the tournament and is a fixture in the number 3 spot for the Indians. Rohit will be fired up, but the form lies with the number three for me. Las time we missed out on a return on this exact play off the last ball of the Mumbai innings – let’s hope it end more favourably for us this time around.

Man of the Match – JJ Bumrah @ 11.00Man of the Match – JJ Bumrah @ 11.00

Bumrah delivered for us in this market the last time these two sides met and I am going back to the well again. The Delhi batters will struggle to find a way to stop Jasprit from having a huge impact in this clash.

Player to hit the most sixes – M Stoinis @ 7.00

Stoinis amassed an impressive 65 in a losing cause against this same opponent a week ago. That effort earnt him a move to the top of the order where he continued in this vain. Pollard and Hardik are both serious contenders in this market but it is not a given that they get to the crease if Mumbai end up dominating the game. Marcus should be sent to the wicket with the job of getting his side off to a fast start so I’m expecting some big hits from the bulky Aussie.
