everton1819Manchester United v Arsenal and two other matches from the English Premier League make up our football treble on Sunday 1st November with the odds boosted by @Olimp_SA

There was no joy again with last week's treble and we are 1 from 6 so far this season. We stick with the same match result, over 2.5 goals and both teams to score format for this week's treble and the odds have been boosted to 5.50 by @Olimp_SA

Leg 1 Newcastle v Everton

Newcastle came away from Wolves with a useful 1-1 draw last weekend and their record comprises of 2 wins, 2 draws and 2 defeats. They have now found the net in 5 of their 6 league matches and whilst they are hardly prolific scorers, they do have a habit of finding a goal regardless of the opposition.

Everton's 100% record ended when they drew 2-2 with Liverpool a couple of weeks ago and last weekend they tasted defeat for the first time when going down 2-0 at Southampton. They started with a 1-0 win at Spurs on the opening weekend but have failed to keep a clean sheet in 5 subsequent league outings.

We start with a both teams to score pick.

Prediction: Both teams to score

Leg 2 Manchester United v Arsenal

United are in the bottom half of the log with 7 points from 5 matches but since they were thrashed 6-1 by Spurs at Old Trafford in early October there has been huge improvement. They have come through Champions League group matches with a 2-1 win at PSG and most recently a 5-0 demolition of RB Leipzig at Old Trafford. Recent league results include a 4-1 win at Newcastle and a 0-0 draw with Chelsea which provided more evidence they have sorted out their defensive issues.

The Gunners lost 1-0 at home to Leicester last week and by the same scoreline a week earlier at Manchester City and they now have a record of 3 wins and 3 defeats. Given they also lost 3-1 at Liverpool they seem to be coming up short against the stronger sides but with the attacking talent they have the lack of goals in those big matches is a surprise.

United are now scoring plenty of goals and Arsenal are better than recent results suggest, hence, we have this game down for 3 goals or more in total.

Prediction: Over 2.5 goals

Leg 3 Spurs v Brighton

We finish in North London where Spurs are desperate for a home victory. Although a 1-0 win at Burnley last time out made it 3 wins from 3 road trips, home games have seen Spurs lose 1-0 to Everton and draw 1-1 with Newcastle and 3-3 with West Ham. The Kane / Son combination is the most potent in the EPL right now and this has to be viewed as an opportunity for maximum points.

Brighton play some good football but turning it into positive results is proving difficult. They did win 3-0 at Newcastle in Week 2 but since then they have added just 2 more points to their tally including a disappointing 1-1 draw at home to struggling West Brom earlier this week.

Spurs get the vote to get a home win under their belts.

Prediction: Spurs to win
