We had no jpy with our treble prior to the international break and hence we are now 1 from 8 so far this season. We stick with the same match result, over 2.5 goals and both teams to score format for this week's treble and the odds have been boosted to 6.60 by @Olimp_SA
Leg 1 Fulham v Everton
We start at Fulham who have 4 points from 8 matches and they went into the international break just outside the relegation zone. They have won just once this season, 2-0 at home to fellow strugglers West Brom and last time out they lost 1-0 at West Ham.
Everton won their first 4 matches and then drew with Liverpool before losing each of their last 3. On the face of it that could make them vulnerable here but the international break may well have come at the right time for the coach to “reset”. They have won twice in London this season, at Palace and Spurs and if repeating that sort of form they should have too much for Fulham.
Prediction: Everton to win
Leg 2 Sheffield United v West Ham
Sheffield United are bottom of the table and with just 1 point against their name. Their last 3 matches came against top sides but they managed to score in defeats at Liverpool (2-1) and Chelsea (4-1) whilst their last home game saw them go down 1-0 to Manchester City.
West Ham have recovered from a poor start and have lost just 1 of their last 6. They have found the net in 7 of their 8 matches this season including road trips to Arsenal (lost 2-1), Leicester (won 3-0), Spurs (drew 3-3) and Liverpool (lost 2-1).
West Ham can usually be relied upon for a goal and whilst that is not the case for the home side Sheffield must target this sort of fixture to kick start their season. We go for both sides to register a goal in this game.
Prediction: Both teams to score
Leg 3 Liverpool v Leicester
That leaves us looking for an over 2.5 goals pick and Liverpool's game against away day specialists Leicester would appear to fit the bill.
All 4 of Liverpool's home games this season have delivered for backers of over 2.5 goals and defensively Liverpool have not been anything like as tight as they were last season.
Leicester have won all 4 road trips and they went into the international break at the top of the log, 1 point clear of Liverpool and Spurs. They have won 3-0 at West Brom, 5-2 at Manchester City, 1-0 at Arsenal and 4-1 at Leeds, playing some terrific football along the way.
This should be a very watchable game and 3 goals or more in total rounds out our weekend treble.
