Football ManUtd120English Premier League football continues Thursday 16th July and we have put together a treble with the odds boosted by @Olimp_SA

We were close last week with 2 of the 3 legs landing but Spurs failure to win at Bournemouth leaves us on 5 successful trebles, now from 18 attempts. We stick with the same match result, over 2.5 goals and both teams to score format for Thursday's fixtures and the odds have been boosted to 6.00

Leg 1 Leicester v Sheffield United

At the time the season was halted Leicester were comfortable in the top 4 but their form since the restart comprises of just 1 win from 6 matches and they now have a real fight on their hands to qualify for the Champions League next season. Their defence was poor in a 4-1 defeat at Bournemouth last time out but they did win their last home fixture, 3-0 against Crystal Palace.

Sheffield have taken 10 points from their last 4 matches and are now just 5 points behind Leicester. A top 4 finish still looks unlikely but a Europa League place is up for grabs and the manner of their 3-0 home win over Chelsea at the weekend suggests they will be a handful in these remaining matches.

Prediction: Both teams to score

Leg 2 Crystal Palace v Manchester United

Palace are safe on 42 points but they have lost their last 5 league games and they failed to score in 4 of those matches. United blew a chance to move into the top 4 when they conceded an injury time equalizer at home to Southampton on Monday. It's another quick turnaround and fatigue would be of some concern but with 16 goals in their last 5 league games and a top 4 finish still very much a possibility, they ought to have too much for Palace.

Prediction: Manchester United to win

Leg 3 Southampton v Brighton

That leaves us looking for an over 2.5 goals pick and this South Coast derby gets the nod. The Saints are unbeaten in their last 4 and have been playing some good football and whilst recent home games have generally been low scoring affairs, they have an in form striker in the shape of Danny Ings who provides a constant threat.

Brighton have 36 points and are not absolutely safe after defeats in home games against Liverpool (3-1) and Manchester City (5-0). They will view this game as a more realistic opportunity for a positive result but gut feel is that they will concede at some stage.

We might need an early strike from either side to open this game right up and a game of 3 goals or more in total completes the treble.

Prediction: Over 2.5 goals
