Football ManCity120Our English Premier League treble for Saturday 7th December includes tips for Everton v Chelsea, Watford v Crystal Palace and Manchester City v Manchester United with the odds boosted by @Olimp_SA

Our winning streak came to an end least weekend as although over 2.5 goals arrived at Leicester and both teams found the net in the Man United v Aston Villa game, Arsenal's failure to win at Norwich torpedoed our chances of 3 all correct trebles in a row.

Our focus this weekend is on Saturday's matches.

Leg 1 Everton v Chelsea

We start at Goodison Park where troubled Everton will kick off in the relegation zone after suffering a 5-2 defeat at Liverpool in midweek. That was a third successive loss and at the time of writing the future of coach Marco Silva was in considerable doubt. Everton have won 3, drawn 1 and lost 3 of their 7 home games so far and backers of over 2.5 goals have collected in 2 of those matches.

Chelsea hit the road again after successive home games delivered a shock 1-0 defeat to West Ham and a 2-1 win over Aston Villa. When Chelsea travel it usually means goals with all 7 of their road trips delivering at least 3 goals in total and often many more. Chelsea have won 5 and lost 2 away from home and they have yet to keep a clean sheet away from Stamford Bridge.

Everton's defence was all over the place at Anfield on Wednesday but Chelsea's style of play leads to open games and this fixture is taken to go over 2.5 goals in total.

Prediction: Over 2.5 goals

Leg 2 Watford v Crystal Palace

Watford have already sacked two coaches this season and after going down 2-0 at Leicester in midweek they remain bottom of the log with just 8 points. Their only win in the current campaign came away to Norwich whilst their home record comprises of 3 draws and 4 defeats. Watford are now 7 points from safety and can ill afford another home defeat as we head towards Christmas.

Palace have no such worries and despite being reduced to 10 men at home to Bournemouth on Tuesday they went on to claim a 1-0 win to move into the top half of the table with a points tally of 21. Roy Hodgson's side have won 3 times away from home, drawing 1 and losing 3.

On the face of it this is a tricky looking game. Watford are desperate for a win but they are very short of goals and the gut feel is they will have to settle for a fourth home draw of the campaign.

Prediction: Match Result, Draw

Leg 3 Manchester City v Manchester United

City have home advantage in the first Manchester derby of the season and with the gap to league leaders Liverpool now standing at 11 points, their chances of retaining the title are looking increasingly slim. City did return to form in midweek when they thrashed Burnley 4-1 away for home. Although they continue to be free scoring, City haven't kept a clean sheet in any of their last 5 league outings.

United beat Spurs 2-1 at Old Trafford on Wednesday and 2 wins and 2 draws in their last 4 league matches represents their best run of form in the season so far. They are still 8 points shy of a top 4 challenge and an away record of 1 win, 3 draws and 3 defeats has to be a concern. However, with 10 goals scored in their last 4 league matches United are now carrying more of a threat in the final third than we saw in many of their earlier games.

City rarely fail to register a goal and with Rashford in good form for United right now the visitors are taken to contribute to the scoring. Both teams to find the net makes the play for the final leg of our treble.
