Football ManCity120Liverpool v Manchester City in the English Premier League and games in Italy and Spain make up our European football treble on Sunday 7th February with the odds boosted to 10.00 by @Olimp_SA

We had no joy last week which was disappointing after landing the hard part with a draw in the Arsenal v Man United match. Unfortunately over 2.5 goals in the Sampdoria v Juventus game and both teams to score in Southampton v Aston Villa failed to arrive.

Our record now comprises record of 2 winning weekends from 15 attempts so far this season. We stick with the same match result, over 2.5 goals and both teams to score format for this week's treble and the odds have been boosted to 10.00 by @Olimp_SA

After going an age without losing a league game at Anfield Liverpool have lost to Burnley and most recently Brighton (both 1-0) on their home ground to fall 7 points behind Manchester City in the title race. In between those shock defeats Liverpool had impressed with wins in London at Spurs and West Ham (both 3-1).

City have reeled off 13 straight wins spanning all competitions and have taken control at the top of the log. They come into the weekend 3 points better off than Manchester United and 5 clear of Leicester and they also have a game in hand over all their closest rivals.

When the teams met in Manchester earlier in the season they cancelled each other out and a 1-1 draw was a fair result. Liverpool will be tempted to blood one of their defensive reinforcements brought in before the transfer window closed whilst City are without de Bruyne.

There is no doubting that City are the more reliable side right now but Liverpool will fight tooth and nail as defending champions and we start our treble with a draw pick in the match result market.

Prediction: Match Result Draw

Leg 2 Lazio v Cagliari click here for all markets available for this match

If you are looking for a form team in Serie A right now then Lazio certainly fit the bill. They have won each of their last 5 league outings to put themselves in the frame for a top 4 finish and included in that sequence a 3-0 home win over local rivals Roma takes the eye.

There is very little encouragement to be found for Cagliari right now. Their last win in Serie A came back in early November and they have lost 8 and drawn 5 of their subsequent 13 Serie A matches to slide into the relegation zone. Goals have been hard to come by but they did score twice in a 3-2 defeat at Roma just before Christmas and a repeat of that sort of result would do nicely as our pick here is for over 2.5 total match goals.

Prediction: Over 2.5 total match goals

Leg 3 Betis v Barcelona click here for all markets available for this match

That leaves us looking for a both teams to score pick and on that front we head to Spain.

Betis are unbeaten in their last 5 with 3 wins and 2 draws and they have contributed to the scoring in 9 of their last 10 La Liga matches. They face a tough task here against an in form Barcelona side who come into the weekend program all of 10 points behind league leaders Atletico Madrid.

Barca's league form has picked up considerably with 8 wins and 2 draws in the last 10 and they have kept 5 clean sheets in that sequence. In early November they thrashed Betis 5-2 at Camp Nou continuing a trend of high scoring matches between these sides.

Each of the last 5 head to heads has delivered a total goals count of at least 5 with both teams contributing to the scoring. Whenever Barca arrive in Seville (where Betis are based) there is an extra edge and we round off our treble looing for both teams to hit the target.

Prediction: Both teams to score
