Couch Critic previews the betting for the Indian Premier League matches taking place on Saturday 30th March.
KINGS XI vs MUMBAI (12:30)
Setting the Scene: Mumbai looked to have hit a roadblock in the form of one AB De Villiers but the finishing quality of Bumrah and Malinga got them over the line in the end and got them off the mark in terms of log points. The Kings XI also have one win and one loss to date. This will be the first match to be hosted at Chandigarh.
Let’s Talk Tactics: The men from Punjab have got some decent reward from their batsmen thus far. Gayle, Miller and Agarwal have all shown some good form. With the ball though they really need the likes of Shami and Tye to hit their straps. Mumbai haven’t shown a lot barring the opening pair but with ball in hand their death duo is superb. The inclusion of Markande also brought something different to the attack.
Verdict: Mumbai have a good attack but Gayle can demolish anyone on his day. Andre Tye should be better after runout last time round. Despite the Gayle-force factor I don’t see this one being a run fest.

DELHI vs KKR (16:30)
Setting the Scene: Things have gone swimmingly for the Knight Riders as their supreme power hitting have gotten them off to a two from two start. With the ball Kuldeep and Narine haven’t been at their best yet. Delhi have the reliability of Dhawan and the explosive hitting from Pant to thank for their decent form thus far.
Let’s Talk Tactics:Pant can’t keep doing the hitting on his own. Morris will probably be added to the starting lineup for additional hitting power. The Capitals will rely heavily on Rabada to get some crucial break throughs against the strong batting unit of KKR. The visitors will be hoping for more of the same with the added potential of conditions in Delhi assisting their spin trio in operating at their peak.
Verdict: KKR are in form and flying high. Delhi don’t have the bowlers to keep their opponents in check.
