manutd1819@ZAPunter provides his betting tips for the English Premier League match between Manchester United and Leicester City which takes place on Saturday 14th September

So, FINALLY, so now that the international break is over, things get back to reality for Manchester United and Leicester City. During the international break some of the United players had excellent performances, but it’s time for them to show it in Red. An unbeaten Leicester team under Brendan Rodgers are playing excellent football, creating loads of opportunities and playing free flowing football. The youthfulness of the Foxes has made them entertaining to watch and they play with no fear when going forward. For Ole and Manchester United it’s simple, they need to take their chances if they want to start winning.

Manchester United has a few injury concerns going into this weekend’s game, Pogba, Lingard and Wan-Bissaka all pulled out of international duty and will likely be a game time decision for the manager. Luke Shaw has been ruled out. Fans are still not convinced by the performances on the pitch, never mind the results, United seem to lose their rhythm too often and let the opponents back into games. When looking at expected goals, we can see the Red Devils xGf is 1.95 and xGa 0.84 which compared to their results are like winter and summer. United will need to deliver soon, otherwise they Old Trafford faithful will become even more restless.

The Foxes are very lucky going injury free into Saturday’s game, with their key players not featuring heaving during the international break, they will be hoping to get a big result at Old Trafford. Rodgers has already made his mark at Leicester, the team works hard when they don’t have the ball and are very affective going forward. Their current expected goals stats are xGf 1.25 and xGa 0.74, they have scored more than expected, but that’s because of their playing style. Leicester will be smelling blood going into Old Trafford and they will most defiantly be competitive.

Manchester United: 4-2-3-1

De Gea,

Wan-Bissaka, Lindelof, Maguire, Young,

McTominay, Matic,

Rashford, Pogba, James,

Leicester City: 4-5-1

Pereira, Evans, Soyuncu, Chilwell,

Perez, Ndidi, Choudhary, Tielemans, Maddison,

After the international break, we always see goals in the Premier League and I expect nothing less in this encounter. Manchester United will always attack at Old Trafford and Leicester have enough fire power to hurt them on the counter. An open game is expected and I feel the we will see both teams getting on the score sheet and more than 3 goals. I think Leicester might even have enough to get the victory here, but I will bet on goals in this one.
