Let’s take a look at the weekend fixtures for Round 15 of the NRL.

 

GOLD COAST TITANS vs CANBERRA RAIDERS – Sat 22 August @ 07:00, Gold Coast

The Raiders were finally able to get their attacking game going against the lowly Broncos last week. Were it not for Proctor having a nibble the Titans would have gone close to beating the Sharks in Round 14. Some bad injury blows could trip up the Gold Coast side but I still don’t see Canberra as a clinical top dog at the moment.

 

WEST TIGERS vs SYDNEY ROOSTERS – Sat 22 Aug @ 09:30, Sydney

The Rooster finally have BMoz back but have lost Keary. Make no mistake about it, this Roosters side is struggling at present but their opponent this week are in an even worse spot. Over the last three matches the Tigers have lost to the Warriors, got smoked by the Knights and they just narrowly sneaked past the bottom-dwelling Bulldogs. I’m on the Chooks for this one!

 

SOUTH SYDNEY RABBITOHS vs MANLY SEA EAGLES – Sat 22 Aug @ 11:35, Sydney

It’s been a bit of a nightmare few months for the Sea Eagles and I don’t see them stopping the slide against the Bunnies on Saturday.

 

CANTERBURY BULLDOGS vs NEW ZEALAND WARRIORS – Sun 23 Aug @ 06:00, Sydney

The Warriors somehow have the knack of dropping you just as soon as you look to get on board. However, the Kiwi’s have won two of their last 3 matches and kept things tidy against a very good Panthers side. For mind you have to take a bit of the Warriors here.

 

NEWCASTLE KNIGHTS vs NORTH QUEENSLAND COWBOYS – Sun 23 Aug @ 08:05, Newcastle

Given their current struggles one can’t have the Cowboys here. The cap could be a tough one but I don’t see Newcastle tripping over the North Queenslanders in terms of the result.
