FINLAND v RUSSIA

Finland beat Denmark 1-0 in their opener, the sides having to come back and restart the game after the drama around Christian Eriksen’s collapse. Despite the win they still remain longshots at 67/20 to reach the quarter-finals.

Russia come into this match under serious pressure having been well beaten 3-0 by Belgium in their opening game. That game like this one was based in St Petersburg and they will be hoping that this time home advantage can do the trick for them.

These sides last met in World Cup qualification action back in 2009 with Russia winning comfortably.

Finland 19/4

Draw 28/10

Russia 13/20

Suggested Bet: Handicap, Finland (+1) at 12/10

The Denmark side were definitely rattled when they came back onto the pitch to play Finland, but let’s not forget that Finland had kept the game goalless up until half-time and with a win under their belt will fancy their chances against what was a disappointing Russian side.

I think Finland can win this, but rather than take the win at currently 19/4, I am going to have the draw on my side as well.

TURKEY v WALES

This match takes place in Baku, Azerbaijan and Turkey are bookmakers favourites.

Turkey lost their opening match 3-0 to one of the fancied teams in the Tournament, Italy and they will know that another loss would ensure they head home after the group stages. They had looked impressive in their World Cup qualifiers earlier this year with victories over the Netherlands and Norway.

Wales came from behind to draw 1-1 with Switzerland in their opener and they will be desperate for the 3 points here as they finish their campaign against the Italians.

There is no recent head-to-head form between these sides as their last meeting was back in 1998.

Turkey 14/10

Draw 43/20

Wales 9/4

Suggested Bet: The draw at 43/20

Both sides will have targeted this match for 3 points, but I am not expecting either of them to throw caution to the wind and think we will get a tight game with goals at a premium. With Italy favoured to beat Switzerland, the draw would likely keep both sides in the hunt.

ITALY v SWITZERLAND

The Italians got their campaign off to a perfect start with a convincing 3-0 win over Turkey. This match takes place in Rome so they will have home ground advantage and it is no surprise to see them starting as short price favourites.

Looking at Italy’s results over the last few months they have not conceded a goal in their last 6 games, all be it they haven't played any of the traditional European heavy weights.

Switzerland would have been disappointed to draw against Wales last time out, but they would bite your hand off for a draw against the Italians, as they would certainly back themselves to beat Turkey in their final match.

Somewhat surprisingly these sides haven't met since 2010 when they played to a 1-1 draw in an International friendly.

Italy 6/10

Draw 29/10

Switzerland 21/4

Suggested Bet: Italy clean Sheet, YES, at 17/20

Italy are rock solid at the back and Switzerland didn’t really impress in their game against Wales, I think the Italians can keep another clean sheet here.
