Monday looks a relatively quiet one for sports betters, but there is Euro 2020 qualification action as well as local horse racing to look forward to and we take a closer look in our Daily Diary.

FOOTBALL

There is Euro 2020 action on Monday night and in Group D, Ireland play Denmark as Ireland is the 3^rd in the Group will have no choice but to push for the victory. The home side are 9/4 with the draw 43/20 and the visitors, Denmark, favourites at 13/10. Spain will be looking to extend their lead in Group F when they host 3^rd placed Romania who are a full 9 points behind them. The home side are 2/11 for the win with the draw at 6/1 and Romania 14/1.

The other action on the night takes place in Group J where Liechtenstein are 26/1 at home to beat Bosnia Herzegovina who are 1/10 and Italy are at home to Armenia and are 1/7, the draw 7/1 and Armenia 16/1.

HORSE RACING

Local horse racing takes place at the Fairview Polytrack on Monday, an 8 race card set to get going at 12:15 and scheduled to finish at 16:35.

Punters will be hoping Horse No. 10, First Charm, can get them off to a winning start and the 3 year old is currently priced at even money to win the 1st Race over 1300 metres.

Looking at the Pick Six, we think Horse No. 3, Epic Storm and Horse No. 1, Flying Squadron, currently 18/10 and 22/10 respectively will get you through the 3^rd leg as they contest Race No. 5. You will probably want to have as many horses as possible running for you in the last, a very open looking race where Horse No. 3, Elusive Diva is currently a 9/2 favourite for the win. We have a small fancy for Horse No. 7, Regal Ruby, currently priced at 19/2 for the win and 14/10 for a top 4 finish.
