BettingDiaryWe take a look at some of Tuesday’s sports betting highlights in our Daily Diary.

CRICKET

The second of three T20’s between Sri Lanka and New Zealand takes place in Kandy on Tuesday. The opening T20 turned out to be a very entertaining affair with Sri Lanka posting 174 for 4, only for New Zealand to chase the target down in the 20th over with five wickets in hand.

Sri Lanka are 13/10 to level the series with New Zealand 6/10 to put the series to bed. Other markets include the most match sixes where New Zealand are 8/10, Sri Lanka 14/10 and the tie at 13/2 and there are also markets such as batsman total match fours where Munro is over or under 2.5 and batsman total match sixes where you can get 4/7 that Guptill hits at least 1 6.

CYCLING

Stage 10 of the Vuelta a Espana takes place on Tuesday. At 5/10 favourite to win the race, Primoz Roglic is a short priced 7/20 to win the stage. If like me you can’t see him being beaten then Stage 10 Match Ups may offer some value and we think Marc Soler could topple Ion Izagirre at a current price of 14/10.

The US Open continues on Tuesday and in the men’s draw we have Stan Wawrinka up against Daniil Medvedev with Wawrinka 8/10 favourite and Medvedev on offer at 1/1.

In the early hours of Wednesday morning Roger Federer is 1/14 to see off Grigor Dimitrov and there are Exotic Markets on each game including Total games and Total Sets.

HORSE RACING

Local Horse Racing on Tuesday takes place at the Turffontein Standside Track and Race number 1 is set to get underway at 13h35 and the 9th and final race off at 17h20.

The 8th race looks a very open affair over 1600 metres and we have a small fancy for the current joint favourite, horse No. 4, Lemon Drop Shot from the Woodruff stable. Lemon Drop Shot is currently trading at 9/2 a win and 17/20 for a Top 3 finish.
