BettingDiaryWednesday looks a busy one for sports betters and we take a closer look in our Daily Diary.

Groups A though D finish off their UEFA Champions League group campaigns.

There is little interest in Group A with PSG having wrapped up the group and Real Madrid having secured a second spot.

PSG are 2/13 at home to Galatasaray and Real Madrid are 12/10 on the road at Club Brugge.

Group B sees a similar situation with Bayern Munich set to finish top and Tottenham behind them. The pair meet in Germany and Bayern are 7/20 favourites with the draw 19/4 and Tottenham 13/2. We are expecting this one to be a free flowing affair and over 3.5 goals is trading at 8/10.

Manchester City have wrapped up top spot in Group C, but 2nd place is very much up for grabs with all of Shakhtar, Zagreb and Atalanta in with a chance.

Shakhtar Donetsk play Atalanta and are 31/20 favourites to win that game, but a lot could hinge on the Zagreb v Man City game where Zagreb are 7/2 at home against a City side that won’t have anything to play for. We think the draw is a big runner here at 33/10.

Juventus have wrapped up Group D, but 2nd spot is up for grabs with Atletico Madrid 1 point ahead of Bayern Leverkusen. Madrid shouldn’t have any problems getting the 3 points at home to Lokomotiv Moscow and they are 1/6 while Leverkusen are even money at home to Juventus who will obviously travel knowing the job is done.

There is one Absa Premiership match on Wednesday night which sees Sundowns up against Stellenbosch with the home team priced as 8/10 favourites, the draw 49/20 and Stellenbosch 38/10.

Sundowns will be desperate to get 3 points to keep the pressure on leaders, Chiefs, who they trail by 13 points with two games in hand. Stellenbosch have really battled in the PSL, winning just 2 of 13 games and currently sitting bottom of the table. We think the 8/10 Sundowns looks a good price.

HORSE RACING

Wednesday’s Horse Racing comes to us from the Greyville Polytrack an 8 race card starting at 12:40 and finishing at 16:35.

Captain Of Colour is the shortest price favourite of the day at 14/10 in Race 2, but there is a market rival in Macallan who is 15/10. Finding a Pick Six banker looks tough but in the penultimate leg, Dispicable is priced at 17/10 favourite and could be the one.
