BettingDiaryWednesday looks to be a busy one for sports betters with the 3rd T20 between South Africa and Australia as well as Champions League football. We take a closer look in our Daily Diary.

CRICKET

The T20 Series is beautifully set up after South Africa’s win in Port Elizabeth banished the nightmare opening T20 defeat at the Wanderers.

The action moves to Newlands in Cape Town and South Africa are the underdogs at 15/10 with Australia 11/20 for the win. There are a host of Exotic Markets available on the game including Australia to score the most 6’s at 9/10 with South Africa 12/10 and 7/1 the tie and if you fancy Warner to carry his bat again, he is a 9/4 favourite to be Top Australian Batsman and if you fancy Quentin De Kock for another good knock, you can get 8/10 that he scores 30 runs or more.

Sri Lanka and the West Indies meet in the 2nd ODI and Sri Lanka are 4/6 favourites with the West Indies priced at 5/4.

The first innings run spread is set at 275.5 and you can Click Here to bet on Sri Lanka v West Indies 2nd ODI

FOOTBALL

The Champions League last 16 first leg matches and Lyon take on Juventus with the visitors even money favourites, the draw 47/20 and Lyon 29/10.

Lyon had 2 draws and 1 victory in their 3 home matches in the group stages and aside from an opening game 2-2 draw away at Atletico Madrid, Juventus reeled off 5 victories including 2 on the road as they romped to top of the table.

This should be an exciting game and we think Juventus is the bet at 1/1.

Real Madrid drew 2 and won 1 of their home matches in the group stages and they face a Manchester City side that won 2 and drew 1 on the road. City are favourites here at 13/10 with Madrid 19/10 and the draw 53/20 and we think there could be goals in this one and like over 3.5 goals at 14/10

GOLF

The golf only starts on Thursday, but we always like to have a look at the betting in our Wednesday’s Diary and the Honda Classic sees Tommy Fleetwood priced as favourite at 12/1 ahead of Brooks Koepka and Rickie Fowler at 14/1 and you can get 25/1 and better the balance.

The European Tour heads to Oman for the Oman Open and here Thomas Pieters tops the betting board at 11/1, with Martin Kaymer 14/1, Thomas Detry 18/1 and you can get 20/1 and better the balance.

The top South African in the betting, George Coetzee at 40/1 a win and 8/1 a top 5 finish.

HORSE RACING

Local horse racing takes place at the Scottsville Race Track, a 9 race card starting at 12:00 and finishing at 16:40.

There are some fairly open races in the Pick Six and the obvious bankers jump out although we do like the looks of Double Gemini, Horse No. 4 in the 5th Race run over 2400 metres and currently priced at 22/10.
