ALEXANDRE PANTOJA vs STEVE ERCEG

Flyweight Title Fight:

Alexandre Pantoja is a Brazilian fighter who is known for his grappling abilities and insane stamina. He has plenty of UFC experience, and he is currently on a 5-fight win streak, with 3 of these wins being by decision and 2 by submission. His last 2 fights have been title fights where he has won both by decision.

His most recent fight was against Brandon Royval last December where he won by unanimous decision and due to his current form he will enter the fight as the favourite on the night.

Steve Erceg is an Australian fighter who is relatively new to the UFC with just 3 fights under his belt so far. He is a well-balanced fighter who shows great striking and wrestling abilities. He has won all 3 of his fights so far and with a title shot this early in his career he will want to make a statement.

The last time he fought was in March last year where he took on Matt Schnell and won the fight by TKO early in round 2. He will enter the fight as the underdog due to him being the less experienced fighter.

JONATHAN MARTINEZ vs JOSE ALDO

Bantamweight Co-Main Event:

Jonathan Martinez is a well-known striker from the USA. He entered the UFC in 2018 and since then he has built up a solid record for himself after winning 10 and losing 3 of his 13 fights. He has not lost since October 2021, and he currently sits on a 6-fight win streak. His last fight was against Adrian Yanez in October where he won in round 2.

He will enter this fight with the betting odds stacked in his favour due to his impressive form and experience.

Jose Aldo is a Brazilian fighter who is known as a veteran in the UFC after making his debut in 2011. He has been in a total of 12 title fights in his career and his first ever fight in the UFC was a title fight. He has fought a total of 20 times professionally and he has won 13 of the 20 fights with his last fight being in August 2022, where he lost to Merab Dvalishvili by decision at UFC 278.

He will enter the fight as the underdog on this occasion due to his last fight being so long ago and because he is potentially nearing the end of his career.

Martinez 7/10

Aldo 23/20

PREDICTION:

I believe this fight will go the distance with Aldo winning by decision and making a comeback to revive his career.

ANTHONY SMITH vs VITOR PETRINO

Light Heavyweight Bout:

Anthony Smith is an American fighter who entered the UFC in 2016, he is known for his effective striking and all-round balanced fighting ability. He has not been on great form lately, losing 3 of his last 5 fights.

His last fight was in December where he lost to Khalil Rountree Jr. by TKO in round 3. Due to his form in his last few fights, he will enter the fight as the dark horse and will be looking for an upset win.

Vitor Petrino is a Brazilian fighter who is known for his clean striking and insane grappling, he has had 4 fights in the UFC, and he has won all 4 leaving him on a solid win streak. His last fight was against Tyson Pedro in March this year where he won by decision.

Due to his form in the UFC so far and him being a young and athletic fighter he will enter this fight as the comfortable favourite across the betting markets.
