Dricus Du Plessis is a well-known striker and grappler from South Africa who possesses an unorthodox fighting style, making him a dangerous opponent.
He made his debut for the organisation back in 2020 and since then he has been on perfect form winning all 8 of his fights. Of these fights he has won 6 via stoppage and 2 by decision.
The last time he fought was in August where he made his first successful title defence after beating Israel Adesanya with a round 4 submission.
Sean Strickland, fighting out of the USA is a fighter who possesses insane stamina and a lethal jab. He has plenty of experience within the UFC and his career spans more than a decade.
He has stepped in the octagon 22 times, winning 16 and losing 6 of his encounters with most of these victories coming via decision.
He has been on good form over the past 2 years and the last time he fought was at UFC 302 held in June when Strickland met with Paulo Costa and picked up his 11th decision win.

WEILI ZHANG vs TATIANA SUAREZ
Women’s Strawweight Title Fight – Co-Main Event:
Weili Zhang is a Chinese fighter who has a huge amount of title fight experience throughout her career. She is a well-balanced fighter who has talent in each field of MMA, making her a tough competitor.
She has been on solid form in her last 4 fights, winning all of them with 3 of the 4 being title fights. The last time she fought was against Yan Xiaonan in April at UFC 300 where the fight resulted in a decision win for Zhang.
Tatian Suarez is a fighter from America who has had a flawless career in the UFC so far. Since making her debut she has fought 6 times, winning 3 by submission, 2 by decision and 1 by TKO.
She has fought against some big names in her short career and overcome them which has led to her title shot. Her latest encounter was against Jessica Andrade back in August 2023 when she won by round 2 submission.

Justin Tafa, fighting out of Australia is a fighter who has battled to maintain winning form in his career. He has fought a total of 9 fights, winning 4 and losing 4 with 1 bout ending in a no contest. He took on Karl Williams in March and lost by decision.
Tallison Teixeira is a Brazilian giant who stands at over 2 meters tall. He will be making his debut this weekend for the UFC and prior to this he fought in various MMA institutions where he was extremely successful. His last fight was in the Dana White Contender Series where he beat Arthur Lopes by KO in round 1 a few months ago.
