Juventus and Ajax are all square at 1-1 as the teams head into the second leg of their Uefa Champions League quarter final clash which takes place in Turin on Tuesday night.
Note, odds quoted are correct at the time of writing but are subject to change.
Ronaldo’s goal on the stroke of half time gave Juve the lead in last week’s first leg in Amsterdam but Ajax were level through Neres almost straight from the restart and there was no further scoring.
Juve now look to finish the job on home soil and in terms of the scoreboard its not as steep a task as they faced in their Last 16 tie with Atletcio. Juve lost 2-0 in the first leg in Madrid but the return in Turin saw Ronaldo score a hat – trick in a 3-0 victory with the final goal coming from the penalty spot 4 minutes from time.
In the group stage Juve won 3-0 at home to Young Boys and 1-0 against Valencia but they did let the lead slip late on in a 2-1 defeat to Manchester United.
In Serie A Juve lost 2-1 at Spal at the weekend, only their second league defeat of the season alongside 27 wins and 3 draws. They are still 17 points clear of Napoli with 6 rounds of matches to play and another title remains a formality.
The winners of the tie will come up against Spurs or Manchester City in the semi-finals,
Ajax had the better of the chances in the first leg but based on what happened in the previous round they remain well and truly in the tie. In the last 16 Ajax put in a terrific shift to turn around a 2-1 first leg deficit with a 4-1 second leg win over Real in Madrid. They were 2-0 up at half time away from home and refused to buckle with 4 different scorers on the night.
In the group stage Ajax performed with great credit in drawing at home (3-3) and away (1-1) with Bayern Munich. Other results away from home saw Ajax draw at Benfica (1-1) and they won at AEK Athens (2-0).
In the Eredivisie Ajax won 6-2 at home to Excelsior at the weekend and they remain neck and neck with PSV in the title race. Ajax top the log on goal difference and away from home they have won 11 and lost 4.

Top Scorers (UCL Only)
Dusan Tadic is leading scorer for Ajax with 9 goals in this competition, Huntelaar and Ziyech have 4
Dybala and Ronaldo are leading scorers for Juve in this competition with 5 goals each
Its advantage Juve for sure but Ajax look a useful side and they are capable of causing problems. I’ll take my chances with over 2.5 goals in 90 minutes although I probably need a reasonably early one to open the game up.
Bet: 90 minutes, over 2.5 goals at 17/20
