The Royals beat the Knight Riders by 3 wickets in Kolkata on Thursday and they now have a record of 4 wins and 7 defeats. They are seventh on the log but only 2 points behind the fourth placed Sunrisers so the play offs remain a possibility even though they have little margin for error.
Parag top scored with 47 against KKR as the Royals chased down a victory target of 176 with 4 balls to spare.
At home the Royals have won 2 and lost 4 with the victories in Jaipur coming against RCB (7 wickets) in Match 14 and Mumbai Indians (5 wickets) in Match 36.
Sunrisers Hyderabad.
The Sunrisers most recent action came away to the Super Kings on Tuesday and they were beaten by 6 wickets. Batting first the Sunrisers posted 175/3 with Pandey top scoring with an unbeaten 83 and Warner made 57. CSK chased it down with just 1 ball to spare thanks largely to Shane Watson’s 96.
The Sunrisers now have an overall record of 5 wins and 5 defeats.
Earlier results away from home saw the Sunrisers lose at KKR and the Kings XI (both by 6 wickets) but they did win at Delhi (5 wickets) in between those defeats.

When the teams met in Hyderabad in Match 8 the Sunrisers won by 5 wickets in a high scoring game. Sanju Samson hit 102 not out and Rahane made 70 as the Royals posted 198/2. Warner (69) and Bairstow (45) put on 110 for the first Sunrisers wicket in just 9.4 overs and the middle order finished the job with an over to spare.
