cricket.proteast20150Pakistan’s tour of South Africa concludes at Supersport Park, Centurion on Wednesday, the final hit out in a series which has already been wrapped up by the Proteas.

South Africa lead the series 2-0 after victories in the first contest at Newlands by 6 runs and then at the Wanderers by 7 runs.

Both matches have followed a similar pattern with the Proteas posting healthy totals of 192/6 in Cape Town and then 188/3 in Johannesburg on Sunday. David Miller was back in the runs on Sunday, smashing an unbeaten 65 off just 29 balls including 5 of the Proteas 11 maximums.

Pakistan fought hard to square the series and 90 from Babar Azam at the top of the order and 55 from Talat batting at number 3 gave them every chance of doing so. However Andile Phehlukwayo (3/36) Beuran Hendricks (2/30) and Chris Morris (2/36) picked up vital wickets and Pakistan, who were 147/1 with 4 overs to go, faltered to finish short on 181/7.

This was how the teams lined up in Johannesburg on Sunday

The Verdict:

There is plenty to like about how Janneman Malan goes about his game. He got a decent start on Sunday without scoring big but with that experience under his belt he could cash in here.

Bet: Top SA Bat Malan at 4/1
