The English Premier League returns with four cracking matches on Saturday 17th October and we have tips for each game, starting with Everton v Liverpool, then Chelsea v Southampton, Manchester City v Arsenal and finally Newcastle v Manchester United.

Everton 57/10, Draw 3/1, Liverpool 9/10
Only 2 teams boast a 100% record, Everton with 4 wins from 4 and Villa with 3 wins from 3. Since they started with a 1-0 win at Spurs, Everton to win and both teams to score / over 2.5 total goals has been the way to go. The Toffees have scored 9 goals in 2 home games in getting the better of West Brom (5-2) and Brighton (4-2) and Calvert-Lewin is joint top scorer in the league with 6 goals.
Liverpool were 3 wins from 3 before a jaw dropping 7-2 hiding away to Villa just before the international break. They had previously seen off Leeds (4-3) and Arsenal (3-1) at Anfield and Chelsea (2-0) at Stamford Bridge and Mo Salah has scored 5 league goals so far.
This derby fixture at Goodison has finished 0-0 in each of the last 3 season but I fancy goals here with 2-3 in total getting my vote.
Chelsea 5/10, Draw 37/10, Southampton 5/1
Aside from the 2-0 home defeat to Liverpool Frank Lampard's Chelsea have been involved in high scoring games. Away from home they won 3-1 at Brighton and came from 3-0 down to salvage a 3-3 draw at West Brom but arguably their most convincing display came last time out when they were 4-0 winners at home to Palace.
Southampton have recovered from losing their first 2 matches at Palace (1-0) and home to Spurs (5-2) to chalk up back to back wins against struggling sides. They got off the mark away to Burnley (1-0) and then saw off West Brom (2-0) in a home fixture. The Saints were 2-0 winners in the fixture last season.
I fancy Southampton can contribute to the scoring in a game of 3 goals or more in total.
Manchester City 9/20, Draw 17/4, Arsenal 11/2
City come into the game in the lower half of the table with 4 points from 3 matches. They started very well with a 3-1 victory in a awkward looking trip to Wolves but a 5-2 home defeat to Leicester followed by a 1-1 draw at Leeds has seen them replaced by Liverpool as favourites in the outright betting to win the title.
Arsenal have 3 wins and 1 defeat against their name. The sole defeat at Liverpool gives them plenty to find to take anything from this game whilst their wins came against Fulham (3-0), West Ham (2-1) and Sheffield United and 2 of those teams have yet to earn a point this season. This venue has been a graveyard for the Gunners in recent times but they were full vale for an FA Cup semi final win over City at Wembley in July and they should arrive in high spirits.
Aubamayeng is my idea of an anytime goalscorer
Newcastle 4/1, Draw 63/20, Manchester United 7/10
We finish at Newcastle who should be happy enough with a 7 point haul from their first 4 matches with new signing Callum Wilson having scored 4 goals. Wins came at West Ham first time out and at home to Burnley just before the international break. They were fortunate to get a 1-1 draw at Spurs and were never at the races in losing 3-0 at home to Brighton.
United have just 3 points from 3 matches and they were lucky to win 3-2 at Brighton in their only road trip so far. Either side of that they lost 3-1 at home to Palace and last time they fell apart in losing 6-1 at home to Spurs, a game where they took the lead in the first minute. United have lost 1-0 at St James Park in 2 of the last 3 seasons.
Marcus Rashford is in a good space right now and assuming he returns from international duty in good health I fancy him to get on the score sheet at some stage.
Suggested Bets for Saturday 17th October:
Everton v Liverpool 2-3 total match goals at 11/10
Chelsea v Southampton, both teams to score + over 2.5 total match goals at 9/10
Man City v Arsenal, Aubameyang anytime goalscorer at 7/4
Newcastle v Man United Rashford anytime goalscorer at 31/20
