Everton 3.35/1 Draw 2.82/1 Man United 8/10

Everton went down 3-2 at Burnley in midweek, a game they led 2-1 at half time. With just 7 points taken from their last 15 league games they are now fourth from bottom, 1 point above Burnley who visit rock bottom Norwich on Sunday and they face the prospect of dropping into the relegation zone this weekend. Everton won their most recent EPL home game, 1-0 against Newcastle and 19 of their 25 points this season have been earned at Goodison Park.

After a 1-1 draw at home to Leicester last weekend United finished the round in seventh position, level with West Ham and 3 points behind Spurs and Arsenal. A top 4 finish is the only target over the course of the remaining 8 matches and with 4 draws from their last 8 they have been losing ground on their rivals with the same aim.

Four of the last 5 head to heads between these sides have finished all square including a the first meeting this season at Old Trafford (1-1).

The Verdict:

Whilst I wouldn't want to trust Everton with the hard earned money right now United haven't exactly been the most reliable but I think the visitors will have enough to pick Everton off at least twice.

Aston Villa 21/10 Draw 5/2 Spurs 13/10

Villa went down 2-1 at Wolves last weekend, a disappointing result given their opponents were missing a couple of key players. They have now lost each of their last 3 matches and have slipped into the bottom half of the table. That run has taken the gloss off the improvement shown when Gerrard took over as coach and in their most recent home fixture they lost 1-0 to top 4 hopefuls Arsenal.

Spurs thumped Newcastle 5-1 in London last week to move into fourth spot ahead of Arsenal on goal difference although the Gunners have 1 game in hand. Spurs have won each of their last 3 and 5 of the last 6, a well timed run which has revived their hopes of Champions League football next season.

The Verdict:

On recent form Spurs have Villa stone cold but if the home side turn it on they can be a handful. Villa's results under Gerrard have been a bit erratic so I wouldn't totally write them off but preference is for goals the goals markets and I'll go with Spurs, with strikers in form, to score 2 or more.
