Spurs 1 / 3 Draw 4/1 Burnley 7/1

Spurs did themselves a power of good with a 3-0 home win over Arsenal in the North London derby on Thursday. Harry Kane scored twice in the first half and Son added the third early in the second. Arsenal were already a goal down when they were reduced to 10 men and Spurs are now just 1 point behind them in the race to finish in fourth place and qualify for the Champions League.

Burnley come into the game fourth from bottom, ahead of Leeds on goal difference and they have 1 game in hand on that rival. A 3 match winning streak came to an abrupt end with a 3-1 home defeat to Villa last weekend. They still have a return match with Villa before they finish up at home to Newcastle.

The Verdict:

After the derby win Spurs should really have the bit between their teeth now and Burnley will have to get last week's poor result out of their system quickly. Aside from a 1-0 defeat to Brighton recent home games have seen Spurs in the goals. Burnley will attempt to dig in but with Kane and Son firing I find it hard to call a surprise.

Bets: Home win and over 2.5 goals? (yes) 8/10

West Ham 13/2 Draw 4/1 Manchester City 7/20

West Ham are seventh, 3 points behind Manchester United (not in action this weekend) with a better goal difference and this game in hand and they are 5 points better off than Wolves. After bowing out of the Europa League at the semi final stage they are targeting another crack at that competition next season and after taking just 1 point from 4 league matches they returned to the winners enclosure last time out with a 4-0 win at already relegated Norwich.

It was the Kevin De Bruyne show at Wolves on Wednesday as City coasted to a 5-1 win to go 3 points clear of Liverpool in the title race and they are also 7 better off in the goal difference department. De Bruyne scored 4 times at Wolves as City made it 5 straight league wins, scoring 22 goals in the process. They are 10 league games without defeat (8 wins and 2 draws), after this they host Villa in the final round of matches and victory here would give them one hand on the EPL trophy.

The Verdict:

City won the first league meeting 2-1 but they were beaten on spot kicks (0-0 aet) in the EFL Cup on this ground and they were held to a 1-1 draw on their visit here last season. Given the way City have bounced back from their late collapse to Real Madrid in the UCL semi finals I think they will come through this test, winning a game of 3 goals or more in total.
