SpursStadiumSunday's English Premier League coupon is headlined by Spurs v Aston Villa and we also take a look at Everton's home game against Manchester United

Spurs 13/10 Draw 28/10 Villa 1.75/1

Spurs most recent home game saw them lose 4-1 to Chelsea with 2 men sent off and Maddison and Van der Ven facing lengthy spells on the sidelines after picking up injuries. If one game could have a major impact on a team's season then that could be the one for Spurs who were top of the league and unbeaten before Chelsea's visit. Since then they went down to 2-1 at Wolves after conceding 2 late goals and they have slipped to fourth spot, 2 points off the pace.

Villa return to action just 1 point and 1 place behind Spurs in the standings. Their record at Villa Park is of the 100% variety but on their travels it's been a little hit and miss (2 wins, 1 draw, 3 defeats) and they were surprisingly beaten 2-0 at Forest in their most recent road trip.

The Verdict

Romero is still suspended for this game and the options in the central defence for Spurs look limited. Meanwhile Villa still have a couple of question marks concerning their away record but they are a very handy side and I'm looking for goalscorers.

I'll give Son another chance after he blanked in the defeat at Wolves whilst for Villa Youri Tielemans finally got 90 minutes under his belt in their most recent league game and he is a more speculative play

Bets: Anytime Goalscorer Son at 13/10 with Sportingbet

Anytime Goalscorer Tielemans at 11/2 with Sportingbet

Everton 1.75/1 Draw 5/2 Man United 1.45/1

After taking 7 points from their last 3 league matches Everton went into the international break with 14 points. However that soon became just 4 points after they were hit with a 10 point deduction for financial irregularities and that put them second from bottom with only Burnley below them, 1 point behind Sheffield United and 2 adrift of Luton.

Man United's last 2 league games delivered 1-0 wins at Fulham and at home to Luton. However those victories came either side of a Champions League defeat in Copenhagen which leaves them with plenty to do to make the last 16 ahead of a trip to Galatsasary on Wednesday next week and a home game against Bayern still to come. As far as their league position is concerned United have moved into the top 6 with a record of 7 wins and 5 defeats and all 7 of those victories have come by a single goal margin.

The Verdict

Following the points deduction Everton will be even more fired up and I'm with Calvert-Lewin to get on the scoresheet at some stage

Bets: Anytime Goalscorer Calvert-Lewin at 2/1 with Sportingbet
