Spurs came away from Anfield with a 1-1 draw last weekend, denting Liverpool's title hopes in the process. They finished the round in fifth place but now 4 points behind fourth placed Arsenal with 3 rounds of matches to go. After this they host Burnley and they finish up away at already relegated Norwich. Spurs beat Leicester 3-1 in their most recent home game, their only win in the last 4 league outings.

Arsenal raced into a very early 2-0 lead (Nketiah twice) at home to Leeds last week. They couldn't build on that despite Leeds going down to 10 men and they ended up winning the game 2-1. That was a fourth straight victory for the Gunners who also won at Chelsea (4-2), at home to Man Utd (3-1) and at West Ham (2-1). Coming into the midweek program they were just 1 point behind third place Chelsea who visit Leeds a day before this game. After this Arsenal go to Newcastle and they finish up at home to Everton.

Recent Head to Head

The first league meeting this season was staged at The Emirates at the end of September and Arsenal ran out 3-1 winners with all 3 of their goals coming in the first half before a late Spurs consolation.

Last season Spurs won this fixture 2-0 and Arsenal won the return 2-1

Both teams ave found the net in 6 of the last 7 league meetings and 5 of those games saw backers of over 2.5 goals collect

The Betting

Spurs are currently 21/20 to win the game with the draw at 5/2 and Arsenal can be backed at 24/10

A game of 3 goals or more is priced at 0.73/1 and it's 0.63/1 for both teams to score.

Harry Kane is 7/2 to score the first goal and 13/10 to score any time, Son is slightly shorter in the same markets

Nketiah is 5/1 to score the first goal and 2/1 to score any time

The Verdict:

The onus is on Spurs to force the issue, a very different scenario to what they faced at Anfield last Saturday and I've got the draw on to my radar.
