Tournament Preview

The UK swing of the European Tour continues to gather momentum as the best players on the continent head to The Belfry for the ISPS Handa UK Championship. Played on the famous Brabazon Course, the event will be the first played at the Belfry on the European Tour for 12 years, adding to the sense of occasion in the West Midlands. The knock-on effect of the COVID 19 pandemic has seen many events on the European Tour cancelled this year but it has also presented an opportunity for British courses to stake their claim to hold big events in the future. And with over €1 million in the prize pot – there are plenty of Order of Merit points and prize money to play for here at the Belfry.

Young Austrian Matthias Schwab has been in solid form since the season restart and his quality could shine through from the off here at the Belfry.
