The final of the 2018 edition of the IPL takes place in Mumbai on Sunday when the Chennai Super Kings take on Sunrisers Hyderabad.
The Super Kings were the first side to seal a place in the final. They beat the Sunrisers at this stadium in the first qualifier earlier this week, chasing down a target of 140 for victory with 5 balls to spare but just 2 wickets in tact.
That was their third win over the Sunrisers this season, the first clash came in Hyderabad in Match 20 and the Super Kings won it by 4 runs and in Match 46 they came out on top by 8 wickets.
Ambati Rayudu is top run scorer for CSK with 586 runs in 15 knocks and MS Dhoni has scored 455 runs in his 15 innings.
With the ball Thakur has taken 15 wickets in 12 matches and Dwayne Bravo has 13 wickets in 15 games.
After losing the first qualifier to the Super Kings the Sunrisers came up against the Knight Riders in the eliminator staged in Kolkata on Friday. They were under pressure after losing each of their previous 4 matches but they came through with a 14 run victory after successfully defending 174/7.
During the regular season the Sunrisers topped the log, finishing with the same record as CSK (9 wins, 5 defeats) and the Hyderabad side had the better net run rate.
Skipper Kane Williamson is top run scorer with 688 in 15 innings and Dhawan has 470 in 15 knocks.
Siddarth Kaul and Rashid Khan have both taken 21 wickets in 16 matches.

Overall there was very little between the teams in the regular season but CSK dominate the head to heads which probably explains why they start as favourites. When the teams met here earlier in the week the bowlers had the better of it and we look to the “Highest Individual Score” market with under 68.5 runs being the pick.
Bet: Highest Individual Score, under 68.5 runs at 5/6 Bet Here
