Delhi Daredevils

The Daredevils became the first side to fall out of contention for a play off place when they lost by 5 wickets to RCB last weekend. They are bottom of the standings with 3 wins and 9 defeats against their name and 2 of those wins came in their 5 home games, against the Knight Riders and the Royals.

On the plus side Rishabh Pant has had an outstanding tournament and he is top run scorer for Delhi with 582 runs in his 12 knocks. Trent Boult is best of the Daredevils bowlers with 15 wickets in 12 matches.

Super Kings

The Super Kings have 8 wins and 4 defeats to show for their efforts so far and in their most recent outing they claimed an 8 wicket win over the Sunrisers in a top of the table clash. CSK are closing in on securing second spot and they could yet catch the Hyderabad franchise, who are in action a day before this game, for poll position.

The first meeting with the Daredevils came in Match 30 and CSK came through with a 13 run victory after posting a bat first total of 211/4 (Watson 78, Dhoni 51 not out).

Ambati Rayudu is top run scorer for CSK with 535 runs in 12 knocks and Thakur has taken 11 wickets in 9 matches.

Betting Angle

There is no pressure on Delhi whilst CSK are looking to secure that top 2 finish and we fancy a high enough scoring game to see 29 or more 4’s in total.
