The chestnut colt was understandably green but ran on strongly for a close 3rd despite jumping from the worst draw in that big field. He would have come on immensely from the experience and should go really close with his in-form jockey engaged. The son of Var is well drawn at gate 3. The first timers must be closely followed in the betting market with BIG FISH the pick of them.

The blinkers made a huge impact on the grey gelding BOBBY DAZZLER who produced a powerful finish to get back to winning ways over this c & d four weeks ago. This shorter trip should be up his alley and the Dynasty gelding is favoured in a likely slow run affair where he can show that smart turn of foot.

The latter has an obvious affinity for this track and certainly deserves strong consideration but her wide draw is a definite concern
