ICED UP had an improved recent showing on the grass but is a far better proposition on this surface and should prove it today. The daughter of Western Winter drops in class and in the ratings. The joint top weight STAR OF CAESOUR had an excellent first run on this surface when she finished powerfully for a close 2nd which surprisingly gained her just a solitary pound penalty. She finished ahead of the promising Ideal Winter that day but now returns from a 14 week break on her seasonal debut. Her fitness is an obvious issue but she should have more to offer on this track.
