Magic Tips Best Bets

Race 1: BYPASS(7)
Jockey: Anthony DELPECH - Trainer: Garth PULLER

BYPASS is improving and he made eye-catching late progress to be close-up in a competitive field over this trip on the grass recently. He still needs to prove himself on this surface but the best draw and a top jockey are obvious advantages.

TOP BET

Race 2: LUCKY AT LAST(1)
Jockey:  Anthony DELPECH- Trainer: Nathan KOTZEN

The Brighteyebushytail formline has already been boosted by the 4th placed subsequent winner Roy's Yevahn and LUCKY AT LAST finished just behind the latter in that event. The lightly raced chestnut colt was making steady progress after racing wide that day and he should love every bit of today's extra furlong. He has polytrack experience and could prove tough to beat in just his fourth career start.

Race 8: DUNDRUM(3)
Jockey: Ian STURGEON- Trainer: Mark DIXON

The lightly raced bay mare DUNDRUM kept her form albeit soundly beaten into 2nd by ROY IS SECOND over this c & d on her handicap debut five weeks ago. She was of course having her second start after that lengthy 32 week absence so will be cherry-ripe this time around and she meets her conqueror on 3kgs better terms for that 3.50 lengths defeat. The game frontrunner could turn things around and her yard is in very good form, having completed a long-priced double on Women's Day at this venue

Race 9: ROCKET MASTER(9)
Jockey: Gareth WRIGHT- Trainer: Candice BASS-ROBINSON

ROCKET MASTER possibly just needed his comeback run when weakening late over this c & d in stronger company and the six-year old gelding will strip fitter today. He could certainly build from that first polytrack showing and represents decent each/way value at this lower-level.

VALUE BET FOR TODAY

Race 5: PEGGY'S DREAM(1)
Jockey: Keagan DE MELO - Trainer: Paul GADSBY

PEGGY'S DREAM has fair recent form and though comfortably beaten by SKYFIRE on the grass two weeks ago the chestnut filly can turn the tables on the polytrack today. In fact, she finished just under half a length ahead of the latter on the last day of May over a similar trip on this course and is 1.5kgs to the good
