The game and improving LANARK was clearly outclassed at feature level after she set the pace from a poor draw over this c & d earlier this month. That said, she had impressive back-to-back wins prior to that and the grey filly drops heavily in class today. Admittedly, she has a much stiffer task at the weights with the consistent four-year old BRAVE MOVE (4.5kgs better off) whom she defeated by just three parts of a length earlier this campaign but the daughter of Sail From Seattle was drawn badly that day and she has certainly progressed smartly since.

AMAROSA is the stable elect from the Snaith yard and she is a most interesting entrant as the daughter of Silvano reverts to sprinting after an eye-catching recent performance over a mile in a competitive field. Nevertheless, this stiff six furlongs could be right up her alley and the bay filly certainly has much room for improvement.
