The well-related daughter of Var may again enjoy the run of the race today.

The top quality bay filly SNOWDANCE has improved rapidly with each outing and she thrashed MAGICAL WONDERLAND and ROSE IN BLOOM over seven furlongs five weeks ago. Of course she overcame a wide draw and dictated terms to devastating effect that day and the daughter of Captain Al undoubtedly has much more to offer. The mile is a slight issue on her pedigree and this long run-in of the summer course is another concern but the Snaith inmate is well drawn this time around. It will be interesting to see if her big race jockey adopts the same tactics.

A top class field of seven entrants contest this renewal of the Grade 2 Green Point Stakes where the brilliant visitor LEGAL EAGLE defends his title. The Brett Crawford stable is represented by three top class sorts and EDICT OF NANTES looks ready to take over the mantle from stablemate's CAPTAIN AMERICA and SAIL SOUTH.
