The daughter of Trippi could still be ahead of the handicapper and she can raise her game further today. That said, she will be severely tested in a highly competitive field.

This is a very ordinary maiden event and the speedy AEROBATIC should prefer this minimum distance. The long-time maiden had an eye-catching last performance at handicap level on this course behind the ultra-consistent Last Girl Standing and she will be fitter now. Her good draw is a major plus but it is worth noting that top veteran jockey Mark Khan who gets the pick of Alexander yard's rides, has opted for ALL EYES ON YOU.

Piere Strydom gets the best out of the classy Pathfork filly SECRET STAR and the pair should be top contenders in this non-black type affair. The four-year old bay wasn't favourably weighted and drawn in her below-par last effort but she should be a totally different proposition this time around. She has more than three lengths to find on the defending champion MYFUNNYVALENTINE on that last meeting but will be cherry-ripe and as mentioned above, her jockey is expected to make the difference.

IDEAL SECRET progressed smartly with each effort towards the latter part of last term and he quickened eye-catchingly to easily beat subsequent winner MANITOBA (0.5kg worse off) over a similar trip at the Vaal in the maiden ranks on the first day of winter. The well-bred son of Ideal World has experience on this tight circuit and he would have strengthened during the 13 week break. He could certainly be worth following..
