Race 4: NORTHERN SONG (5)
Race 7: FIRE WALKER (5)

Magic Tips Best Bets

Race 2: QUEEN NIYABAH (13)
Jockey: Domeyer A - Trainer: Kotzen G

QUEEN NIYABAH is the best bet on today's card. She produced an eye-catching debut effort over six furlongs at Kenilworth. She showed good speed that day and challenged all the way to the line. The daughter of Kingsbarns would have gained from the experience and with the natural improvement that is expected, she should take a power of beating.

Race 3: CAPITANA (1)
Jockey: Cheyne G - Trainer: Crawford B

CAPITANA produced a promising debut effort over six furlongs at Kenilworth. Queen Niyabah who finished ahead of her that day takes her place in Race 2 on this card and her progress in that event will be worth monitoring. The daughter of Captain Al jumps from pole position this afternoon and with the natural progression that is expected, she should be the one to side with.

Race 4: NORTHERN SONG (5)
Jockey: Domeyer A - Trainer: Kotzen G

NORTHERN SONG has finished runner-up in his last two starts. He raced from a handy position over this distance last time, but was outrun late. The son of Oratorio makes his course debut this afternoon and if suited to the track, he should shed his maiden tag.

TOP BET FOR TODAY

Race 8: DAZZLING SUN (8)
Jockey: Fourie R - Trainer: Snaith J

DAZZLING SUN was ultra-impressive when winning her maiden over this C&D last time. She raced from a handy position that day and won a lot easier than the official margin suggests. The daughter of Camelot makes her handicap debut this afternoon, but she looks to be above average and should be up to the task at hand.

VALUE BET FOR TODAY

Race 1: DESERT ILLUSION (2)
Jockey: Cheyne G - Trainer: Crawford B

DESERT ILLUSION is much better than his last start over seven furlongs at Kenilworth suggests. It must be noted that there have been multiple winners from that form line. The run that catches the eye is when finishing fourth over this C&D in his penultimate start. He had to overcome the widest draw that day, but stayed on well at the finish. This is not the strongest field and Greg Cheyne may be able to coax that little bit extra out of him where it matters most
