SLEEPING SINGLE has her second run after a rest, but she did record her hat-trick on her comeback outing and will be looking to make that a quartet of wins this afternoon. Two of her three wins to date have been recorded over this distance.

POWER GRID is the only runner on the day from the Andries Steyn yard and he has the services of Richard Fourie. He did finish 1.75L behind BERNIE in their last outing and they meet on the same weight terms here, but the positions were reversed in their penultimate run over six furlongs. The former gets the nod on the basis that he has won twice over the five furlong dash as opposed to no wins by the latter.
