KENTUCKY BLUE is a 5yr old mare taking on the boys, but she ran on well in her last start over the c&d and gets a handy draw. That last effort was made that much more encouraging as she was coughing that day. She should give the males a good run for their money.

BIG BAY returns from a 15-week rest, but he is unbeaten in three starts over the c&d and will be looking to add to that record this afternoon. He is a speedy sort who will be aided by jumping from gate three. He might prove difficult to reel in over the closing stages of the race.

GLORY DAYS was considered good enough to be taken up to the Highveld to contest a feature race there in her penultimate outing over seven furlongs. She raced wide that day and understandably faded in the straight. She was running on in her last outing over this c&d and from her handy draw, she should give a good account of herself here.
