The son of Elusive Fort tries the polytrack for the first time and if suited to the surface, he should take a power of beating. Aldo Domeyer retains the ride and it is his only mount on the day.

Jockey: W Kennedy - Trainer: Bardenhorst/Keneddy

RACHEL has good recent form lines to her credit. She set the pace last time, but was caught in the shadow of the post. She is suited to this course having finished third twice from as many starts. It is interesting that the blinkers have been removed this afternoon, but Warren Kennedy knows her well and the combination should find themselves in the winner's enclosure.

Race 3: PREDATOR (3)

Jockey: L HEwitson - Trainer: A Wright

PREDATOR'S last two runs since the return of racing have been good. He raced from a handy position over seven furlongs on this course last time and stayed on well to finish a creditable fourth. The son of Querari will enjoy the rise to the 1700m and with Lyle Hewitson in the saddle, he should be the one they all have to beat.

Race 7: MOHICAN (8)

Jockey: G Lerena - Trainer: J A Janse van Vuuren

MOHICAN was his own worst enemy in his comeback run over this C&D last time. He ran a decent race in his penultimate start when finishing third over six furlongs. The son of Campanologist takes a drop in class this afternoon and if switching off early, can get back to winning ways.

SHE'S A DREAM showed signs of needing her comeback run over seven furlongs on this course. She likes racing over this C&D with a record of one win and a third-place finish from three outings. She is Callan Murray's only mount on the day and can get back to winning ways.
