THEMBA has only had the one start where he lost a length at the jump and then understandably raced green before fighting back in the closing stages to just fail by a short-head. That was over the c&d and with the run under his belt, he looks to be the one to side with here. His handy draw is a plus.

 
Race 3: EXPLOSIVE BEAUTY (10)
Jockey: A Marcus - Trainer: P Lafferty

EXPLOSIVE BEAUTY jumps back to the seven furlongs after staying on well in her last outing over six furlongs. She was unlucky in her penultimate run over this c&d when having to be eased at the 400M mark. A repeat of the effort would see her ending up in the winners enclosure. She is drawn wide, but has Anton Marcus in the irons and will get all the necessary assistance from the saddle.

PREFERENTIAL returns from a 12-week break and is the only runner on the day from the Alyson Wright yard. She is reunited with Anton Marcus which suggests that the connections are expecting a big run from her. It must, however, be noted that she is carded to run on 20 December and that effort will need to be studied.

Jockey: B Jacobson - Trainer: G Rich

CLOUDS OF WITNESS is the only runner on the day from the Gary Rich yard and the only ride for Billy Jacobson, but the pair have teamed up successfully to post two wins in a row over the c&d. On those efforts, the hat-trick is very much on the cards.
