MYSTERY BOY was his own worst enemy last time as he overraced in the early stages. It must be noted that the form of that race has worked out well. The son of Noble Tune produced a promising debut effort over this distance. Wayne Agrella steps back into the saddle and if switching off early, he should take a power of beating.

AFRICAN SUNRISE ran a very good race in his last start over this distance on the polytrack. He raced from a handy position that day and fought hard all the way to the line. He finished second in his only start on this course. He does have a wide draw to overcome, but gets the services of Donovan Dillon who will give him all the necessary assistance from the saddle.
