HIGH ALTAR is coming to hand after returning from a ten week break and she stayed on for a solid 3rd despite suffering some interference over nine furlongs on the polytrack four weeks ago. She finished a short head adrift of the runner-up HATFIELD SQUARE whom she meets on identical weight terms today but her track experience sways things in her favour. Of course the poorly drawn daughter of King's Chapel has gone exactly one year without a victory which came over this trip at this venue.

The half-sister to dual Grade 1 winner Eyes Wide Open, BELIEVE THE BEST had an exciting debut over six furlongs on the polytrack recently despite the daughter of Oratorio not striding out. She would have gained plenty from that first experience and is bred to love today's extra furlong.
