The grey filly COLOMBINA weakened late in mixed company nine days ago but had solid prior form against her own sex and she should bounce straight back today. She is c & d suited and is well drawn.
Race 4: BUFFALO BILL CODY (10)

BUFFALO BILL CODY had a disappointing second start on yielding ground but the smart imported colt may have also needed the outing as he returned from a 22 week break. It is hardly surprising that his top conditioner has changed the jockey and son of Redoute's Choice should bounce back.
Race 8: CALS CRUSH (5)
Jockey: S Khumalo - Trainer: S Tarry
CALS CRUSH is still improving and she was again impressive when easily beating LEIA ORGANA (3.5kgs better off) over this c & d earlier this month. The resultant seven pound hike will test her further today but the red-hot Tarry inmate could again have the answers and she can complete the four-timer. The latter fluffed her lines subsequently but is weighted to finish closer to the top rating

FIDELIO should have finished closer but for an awkward start in a similar contest recently and he can make amends with 'Striker' in the saddle today.
