CAPTAIN'S CAUSEWAY should take his place in this field as he was the second reserve runner in the Tsogo Sun Sprint at Scottsville yesterday. The Tarry inmate has had a staggered career due to injury but has shown useful potential and he hinted at a form return with a pleasing last c & d effort at this level. Unfortunately, the runner-up Green Pepper flopped badly next time out which dampens the formline but this sparingly raced five-year old could still feature prominently in the finish.

SUNSHINE SILK is progressing smartly and the proven stayer displayed an impressive turn of foot when she easily beat much lesser rivals over a mile and a half recently. Admittedly, she faces considerably stronger opposition today but the Woodruff inmate clearly escaped with just a three pound penalty and she didn't disgrace herself in mixed company prior to that. She should be suited to this shorter trip on this galloping track.
