Winning Form Best Bets

Race 1: ORARARI GOLD (8)
Race 2: WITHOUT EQUAL (16)
Race 3: MERIDIUS (7)

Magic Tips Best Bets

Race 1: ORARARI GOLD (8)
Jockey: Yeni M – Trainer: Lensley C

ORARARI GOLD has produced two decent efforts to date. The manner in which she stayed on at the finish over 1100m last time suggests that she will be at home over 1400m. The daughter of Oratorio gets the services of Muzi Yeni and she can shed her maiden tag.

Top Bet For Today

Race 3: MERIDIUS (7)
Jockey: R Munger – Trainer: A Fortune

MERIDIUS is the best bet on the programme. He was slow into stride on debut over 1450m on the Classic course, but the manner in which he finished off his race caught the eye. The son of Canford Cliffs would have gained from the experience and will love the extra distance on offer. With the natural improvement that is expected, he should take a power of beating.

Race 5: SPIN DOCTOR (4)
Jockey: Craig Zackey – Trainer: L Houdalakis

SPIN DOCTOR followed up his maiden win with an equally impressive victory over 1500m on this course. The manner in which he quickened up and drew clear of the opposition was eye-catching. The son of Duke Of Marmalade takes another rise in class, but he has ability and can notch up the hat-trick.

Jockey: S Khumalo – Trainer:

BENGUELA COVE should have won her last start over this C&D as Raymond Danielson dropped his reins at the 200m mark. She finished 1 length behind ON CUE that day and she is 2kgs better off at the weights. That should be enough for the tables to be turned. She runs well for Gavin Lerena and can return to winning ways.

Value Bet For Today

Race 8: INTEGRATE (5)
Jockey: Zackey C – Trainer: Soma J

INTEGRATE was slow into stride last time, but finished his race off strongly when second behind Taikonaut who takes his place in the Grade 2 Golden Horseshoe. Craig Zackey takes the ride and if jumping on terms, he should be the horse to beat
