He has made a bright start in his new surroundings having finished second and winning his second start under his new conditioner. He seems to be developing into a decent stayer and another honest performance can be expected.

LAKE KINNERET has solid formlines to his credit. He has the ability to race handy, or to come from off the pace which does give title-chasing Muzi Yeni both options this afternoon. Whatever the choice, the pair should be involved in the finish.

PRINCESS PENELOPE is the only runner on the day from the Lucky Houdalakis stable and although she has a poor draw to overcome, she could be the horse that they all have to beat. She was staying on in her last start over six furlongs which would seem to indicate that she will enjoy the extra ground. It is encouraging that S'manga Khumalo has kept faith in her.
